Why​

To design a exhibition for ​a video game you will need to understand the culture of the game player who will be attended the exhibitions in which . By understand the users you can make design decisions with sensitivity to their needs and motive.  

What

Create a blog post that communicates how you understand video game users though direct experience, interviews of gamers, and research data. ​

How​

Review the following website and data:​

Complete a research report that includes ​

  • Introduction of user analysis with a brief description of objective to the report. 
  • Overall analysis of video game industry demographics ​with metrics (measurements in numbers) and trends by research other websites. 
  • Analysis of little big planet users. Complete an analysis of little big planet blog posts and other websites dedicated to the game. ​
  • Interviews of video game players, both casual and serious. ​
  • Play the video game Little Big Planet. ​Complete an analysis of key elements of game play. (Objectives, storyline, creative expression, cooperation, etc...) What makes the game compelling to users? 
  • Develop three Little Big Plant user profiles. Each profile is to describe in detail ​distinct users characteristics including demographic information, life style, other life interests, etc...  Create a visual scrapbook for each user profile that would assist in understanding interest in and outside the game. 
  • Conclusion provide a summery with and describe how the information in the user report will assist in the design of the game. ​
  • Bibliography. ​

Create a blogpost and upload a PDF prit of the blog entry to Blackboard. ​
