Deep Critique

OBJECTIVE:

Prepare materials for a deep critical review “critique” phase two design iteration.

REQUIREMENTS:

On a plotted sheet (42X84) communicate process and next steps. Include the following information on the sheet in graphic and written statements. (Each requirement is to have words and pictures (diagrams and photographs is ok.…)

  • empathy -  evidence and outcomes
  • define - essence statement, assumptions, research and analogous studies, 
  • ideate - alternative ideas generated
  • innovate - criteria for determining idea to be prototypes
  • prototype - evidence of prototype (photographs) 
  • test - method and outcomes

next steps - next three design thinking activities as listed in the Innovating for People Handbook with written rational of why they are essential and important to your project and how (specifically related to your project) they will be conducted. 

OUTCOMES:

Stand alone communications (visual and written) to support insights, constructive comments, and alternative points of view from design thinkers not on your team.
